Buy the Broivira if floor area is what you are short of and you accept a kit with no published wind or snow rating, because 96 sq ft at about $6 per square foot is roughly a third of what a branded kit costs per foot.   • 96 sq ft is the threshold where a greenhouse changes job. You can put a growing bed down one side, a full bench down the other, and still walk between them with a tray.
  • About $6 per square foot is roughly a third of what a Palram kit costs per foot, and floor area is the specification that most decides what you can actually grow.
  • 8 ft of width is the number that matters more than the 12 ft of length. Two people can work in an 8 ft house and cannot in a 6 ft one.
  • A lockable door is not a small thing if the greenhouse holds tools, a heater and a season of transplants.

Where it falls short

  • There is no published panel thickness, no wind rating and no snow load figure. On a structure this size those are the three numbers that decide whether it survives, and their absence is the real cost of the price.
  • One roof vent for 96 sq ft is badly short. Passive ventilation wants roughly a fifth of floor area in opening vent, and this is nowhere near it, so a fan is not optional in summer.
